VIBR.ID - L'identità sonora di Galleria Borghese
Sono stato il primo compositore a ricevere una commissione dalla prestigiosa Galleria Borghese di Roma dopo circa 300 anni, creando VIBR.ID, un'opera site-specific. È l'unica opera d'arte immateriale presente nella Galleria Borghese, installata con la realtà aumentata. Questo progetto nasce dalla capacità di realizzare l'identità sonora di una realtà, dando voce e memoria a luoghi, immagini e concetti.
I was the first composer to receive a commission from the prestigious Galleria Borghese in Rome in about 300 years, creating VIBR.ID, a site-specific work. It is the only intangible artwork present in the Galleria Borghese, installed using augmented reality. This project stems from the ability to realize the sonic identity of a reality, giving voice and memory to places, images, and concepts

A differenza di un inno, una sigla o un jingle, il LogoSound è un vero e proprio logo.
Diversamente dai consueti logo grafici, il LogoSound esprime l’identità di una realtà in pochi suoni. Potremmo definirlo un sigillo sonoro.
Così come il logo grafico, attraverso un simbolo visivo, esprime l’identità di una realtà per la quale è stato creato, allo stesso modo, il LogoSound, esprime l’identità e i concetti fondamentali di una determinata realtà attraverso l’elemento suono.
Attraverso questo specifico LogoSound della Galleria Borghese, Federico Longo, ha voluto esprimere i concetti di Armonia, Bellezza , Unicità ed Essenzialità delle forme.

Unlike traditional graphic logos, a LogoSound expresses an organization's identity through just a few sounds. It could be defined as a sound seal.
Just as a graphic logo uses a visual symbol to express the identity of the entity for which it was created, a LogoSound similarly conveys the core identity and concepts of a specific reality through the element of sound.
Through this specific LogoSound for the Galleria Borghese, Federico Longo aimed to express the concepts of Harmony, Beauty, Uniqueness, and Essentiality of forms.

Quest'opera, rappresentata a Cremona, esprime la forza dell'intera umanità nel riunirsi per uscire dal buio della pandemia attraverso la potenza dell'armonia. Notte di luce incarna la filosofia che il suono ha memoria di ciò che lo precede e consapevolezza di ciò che gli succede, creando un'esperienza emotiva profonda e unificante. Performed in Cremona, this work expresses the strength of all humanity coming together to emerge from the darkness of the pandemic through the power of harmony. Notte di luce (Night of Light) embodies the philosophy that sound holds a memory of what precedes it and an awareness of what succeeds it, creating a profound and unifying emotional experience. Concatenation - Il suono che ricorda
L'album Concatenation è stato composto con l'accordatura a 432hz, dove ogni suono si muove avendo memoria del suono che lo precede e coscienza del suono che gli succede. Questo progetto esemplifica la mia visione unica sulla natura del suono e la sua capacità di costruire ponti tra passato e futuro. È un viaggio sonoro che parte dal Silenzio per giungere al Silenzio.

This project exemplifies my unique vision of the nature of sound and its ability to build bridges between the past and the future. It is a sonic journey that begins from Silence to arrive at Silence."
